I like the Traffic, and even though this van has been around for the best part of 10 years now it’s looking like a very sensible and competitive van in electric form. With a 120hp motor, a Combined WLTP range of 184 miles and a decent payload, I expect this van to sell very well.

Available to order right now is the Mercedes-Benz eCitan. The ICE version of this (and the platform sharing products from Renault and Nissan) has wowed independent reviewers so the launch of an electric version with a range of 176 miles is quite big news. This is a real competitor to the Stellantis family of small electric vans (Vauxhall Combo Electric etc.) and will no doubt nip at the heels of these established players in the sector.
